CSC Held the 2008 China LIFE/Asia User Group Meeting in Beijing, China

CSC held 2008 China LIFE/Asia User Group Meeting on June 10 2008 in Beijing, China. The meeting aimed to make closer communication with CSC's LIFE/Asia clients in China on the latest enhancement of the product's new functions, which include SOA, XML printing, etc. In addition, new insurance industry specific solutions which CSC launched in Asia and China recently was also introduced at the meeting. Through the meeting CSC also wanted to learn the problems and requirements its clients encountered in using the application, and solve them. The meeting lasted two days, key system managers and users led by their IT heads from five LIFE/Asia clients' companies in Beijing, Tianjin and Guangzhou attended the meeting.

After the speeches were made by the CSC team, it was followed by an interactive exchange between CSC and its clients on the new functions of LIFE/Asia product and valuable feedback from the clients on how to further enhance the product features based on their experience of using the product. All of the attendees recognised LIFE/Asia as a splendid core system of life insurance both from the function and feature perspective. In fact, the product features like flexibility, stability, scalability and ease of maintenance were highly accoladed by all present. The clients shared they have benefited from the use of LIFE/Asia and both end users and IT staff were highly satisfied with the product. With the enhancement of the product on SOA and other new technologies, the product will, without a doubt, better enable insurance companies to improve their market competitiveness.

All of the attendees found the meeting very beneficial and even suggested that such similar meetings should be held more frequently.
